Why Get Involved?
Tinap Green has been running training and livelihood programs in communities across Sierra Leone, Ireland, Uganda, India, and we are currently expanding our impact to even more regions. Through our partnerships with companies dedicated to empowering communities and promoting sustainability, we aim to address waste pollution and create economic and educational opportunities for youth, women, and children.
Through our hands-on workshops, youth and community members acquire valuable skills such as tie and dye, paper bead making, weaving, and upcycling using materials like tyres, pallets, and other discarded items. These sustainable products enhance both public and private spaces, contributing to social impact and helping to reduce environmental pollution.
As a social enterprise, Tinap Green collaborates with local artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs to create sustainable products. While interior décor is one example, we focus on innovative, sustainable solutions across various sectors. Our work has been globally recognized, including an acknowledgment from Sierra Leone’s President for our contributions to national development.
